A nail salon, with a cardboard box and enamels

On 16 April 2020, during lockdown, Melissa Lynn Temerowski, from Greenville, Michigan, posted a photo on her Facebook account. The photo shows her two daughters, four-year-old Adalynn and one-year-old Skylar, sitting on the floor with a flattened cardboard box on which the outlines of hands and fingernails have been drawn in black marker. The girls are entertaining themselves by painting the nails with nail polish.

A simple corrugated cardboard box  and some nail polishes. Simpler impossible, but at the end of April, in just 15 days, this image has been shared 234,000 times, it has 6,680 likes and the chilly 18,000 comments.

As Melissa explained in an interview, a day earlier they had been doing crafts with cardboard boxes And they had some left over. That's when Melissa came up with the simple, cool idea of drawing the whole family's hands on the unmounted box so the girls could paint their nails. And he adds that they were well entertained all afternoon.

According to the comments, thousands of parents have followed Melissa's example and had their children well entertained painting nails thanks to a cardboard box.
