In Spain, cardboard takeoff has superlative figures.
In 2015 they occurred 4,759 million square metres of corrugated cardboard, enough to cover the Balearic Islands, according to data collected by Afco, the association of manufacturers of Spanish Corrugated Cardboard Packaging and Packaging. “Our growth will go hand in hand with sales growth online“ ” says the association.
The latest data from the National Markets and Competition Commission indicate that e-commerce in Spain grew 27% more in the second quarter of 2015 than the previous year and reached 4,945.9 million euros. Travel agencies appear as activities with the highest income.
If we look at the number of transactions, the garments appear in second place, followed by records, books and stationery. Each transaction requires a safe box to reach its destination.
