To coincide with the Free From Plastic Packaging exhibition, dedicated to the plastic-free packaging sector and taking place on 28 and 29 May at Fira de Barcelona, we are sharing this video produced by Greenpeace International to explain the plastic cycle and why plastic is not viable as a material for manufacturing all types of packaging in the short, medium and long term.

On its website, Greenpeace actively campaigns against the use of plastic at every level and accuses large corporations of being responsible: “People living along rivers and coastlines in Southeast Asia and other communities around the world are among those most affected by plastic pollution, although they did not create it. We need to send the plastic monster back where it came from: multinational corporations based in Europe and North America. ”
