Corrugated Cardboard Boxes

Cardboard boxes for clothing... for folding clothes!

After almost 100 years manufacturing cardboard boxes We cannot stop smiling when we see the thousand and one utilities that time and the different cultures of the world have found something as simple as a corrugated cardboard box.

In the early 19th century the corrugated cardboard began to circulate among the population of England. In its early days it was called corrugated or pleated paper and had the patent registered as a coating for top hats in the United States in the middle of the same century, specifically in 1856, according to Ohio State University.

In the 20th century, in the 1930s, shortly after our company was founded, pregnant women in Finland received cardboard boxes from the state containing clothing, 2 sheets and some toys. The cardboard box could be used as a little bed, thanks to corrugated cardboard’s excellent properties as thermal insulation. Studies show that this policy has helped Finland achieve one of the world’s lowest infant mortality rates in recent decades.
