On this blog, we talk a lot about the properties of cardboard boxes and their many uses. We have published stories starring cardboard boxes, and discussed how they can be made into toys for cats, dogs or children, sunshades for computers, gift wrapping, baby cribs… but what we have yet to say is that cardboard boxes can bring happiness. What we have not dared to say ourselves, Coca Cola explains in detail in its latest Christmas advert.
When Christmas arrives, brands usually launch their more familiar advertisements in which they often touch the viewer's sensitive fiber. This time Coca Cola has totally accomplished it.
The announcement explains the story of a child who sees that her neighbor, an elderly lady, is going to spend Christmas alone and decides to invite her to a Christmas meal with her neighbors. But to send him the invitation he can think of no other than to build a kind of tube with cardboard boxes that goes from the roof of the building to the window of the neighbor's house. A construction in which each neighbor puts his stone in the form of a cardboard box. Who doesn't have a cardboard box at home!
Once the messenger tube is built and well lit with Christmas lights, they throw a small cardboard box wrapped for a gift with a single message: “See you at 3 pm”.
