Prepare your online orders with cardboard boxes sized for the product, its protective packaging and the planned transport. Ask FX Sanmartí about regular slotted boxes, self-assembly boxes and cardboard inserts to organise and present your shipments. We assess dimensions, weight and handling before agreeing on a format. We manufacture custom production runs for businesses and brands, with project-specific minimum orders and special pricing for large quantities.
Quality
Packaging tailored to each ecommerce order
Self-assembly boxes use folds and interlocking tabs to form the packaging and hold its parts together. The model shown on this page is designed to close without adhesive tape. Before choosing it, check that its format, strength and closure suit the product and its transport requirements.

How to choose packaging for your online shop
Production runs, minimum orders and large volumes
We work with manufacturers, brands and businesses requiring production runs of custom boxes for product presentation, warehousing and distribution. Minimum orders depend on size, format and printing. Special pricing is available for large quantities. Provide the total volume, quantities for each version and expected replenishment so we can prepare a proposal.
An ecommerce box should make order preparation straightforward and hold the contents with their protective packaging. Choosing by appearance or outside dimensions alone can leave too little usable space or create an oversized parcel.
Slotted or self-assembly boxes: choose for your workflow
Regular slotted boxes are an option for preparing shipments sealed with tape. Self-assembly boxes take shape through folds and tabs. In either case, the shipping closure, contents and required strength need assessment: the assembly method alone does not guarantee protection.
Dimensions, protection and order preparation
Provide internal length, width and height, including space for dividers or void fill. If you sell several sizes, we can assess a range of formats to reduce empty space while retaining protection. For bottles, jars or fragile parts, ask about inserts that separate items and limit movement.
Customisation for your brand
Ask about flexographic printing for your logo, messages or references. Share the artwork, printing faces and expected quantities. Board, finish and printing options are confirmed when the project is assessed.
What to send for a quote
Provide the product, internal dimensions, total weight, quantity per format, protective packaging and printing requirements. Include the destination and preferred date. If the box must also serve for returns, explain how it should open and close again.
Measurement guide for your enquiry
| What to measure | How to specify it |
|---|---|
| Usable internal space | Internal length × width × height, in mm. |
| Product with protective materials | Overall dimensions of the contents and protection, in mm. |
| Packed weight | Weight of the contents, accessories and protection, in kg; this is not a stated load rating. |
Provide dimensions in millimetres and specify whether they are internal or external. Format and manufacturing are confirmed according to the design and material.
